    About Samantha Kelley

    LPC, RPT, Ed.S, LPC-S

    Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (#3440), a Registered Play Therapist (T4900) and LPC-S(SC03335). Samantha is a trauma-informed therapist, that has worked in various settings. She has a background in mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, counseling incarcerated individuals and juvenile delinquents, the geriatric population, and at-risk adolescents.

    Samantha recently acquired her play therapy certification, but has 4 years of experience and training as a play therapist. She has experience in Individual, group, and crisis counseling. Samantha has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Alabama, a Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling and an Education Specialist Degree in Counseling from Jacksonville State University.

    “In life, circumstances happen that can aggravate balance and cause chaos. Counseling can help bring back balance and stability. As a therapist, I believe in taking a hands-on approach, working together with individuals, to identify problem areas, and focus on solutions, utilizing coping mechanism to help solve problems.”

     


    About Traci Rhines

    Traci is the Office Manager and Credentialing Specialist for Twindom Counseling Services. She is a 1990 graduate of Guntersville High School and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Environmental Sciences. She has 26 years of experience in management, human resources, customer service, and administrative work. Her responsibilities include billing, scheduling, credentialing, client services, and administrative duties. She also currently serves as the Director of Victim Services and Prevention at a local rape crisis center and is the owner and operator of Lakeview Credentialing and Administrative Services. Traci puts God, faith, and family above all else and is passionate about changing the way people view mental health.

    “Working with victims and survivors of sexual assault brought with it a newfound understanding of trauma, how it impacts the brain, the effect it has on the lives of those who survive it, and the importance of mental health wellness.”

     


    About Elizabeth Stewart

    Elizabeth Stewart is our Administrative Assistant. Her Responsibilities include Answering phones, taking messages, maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, and assisting the office manager, credentialing specialists, therapists, and clients.

    Elizabeth is a graduate of Guntersville High School, class of 1992. She has an Associate Degree in Theology from the Midwest College of Theology.

    Elizabeth values her faith, family, friends, and community. She enjoys dancing, swimming, and fishing. Elizabeth is a regular volunteer at the Community Free Store of Marshall County.


    Brad Ploof

    MS, ALC | Clinical Mental Health Counselor

    “Mr. Brad” is an Associate Licensed Counselor in the State of Alabama; he is under the supervision of Samantha Kelley, Ed. S, LPC, LPC-S, RPT. Brad completed his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of West Alabama with summa cum laude honors and his Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Leadership & Organization from Regent University with sigma cum laude honors. He is a member in high standing of the American Counseling Association, the Alabama Counseling Association, SAIGE, and the National Board of Certified Counselors. He is also accruing additional experience, training, and supervision towards becoming a registered play therapist.

    Brad’s clinical mental health psychotherapy experience is extensive. He has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings from community mental health to out-patient programs and specialty hospitals and clinics. Brad prides himself on serving a diverse variety of clients. Brad has a passionate focus on serving clients struggling with addictions, anxiety, depression, PTSD difficult career and life transitions.

    He and his spouse live with their growing fur family on a mini farm in rural Marshall County. They aspire to offer holistic therapeutic retreats rooted in faith, family, and friends and facing challenges with confidence and wisdom.
